Gary Gygax was one of the co-creators (along with Dave Arneson) of Dungeons and Dragons and is called by some the "father of roleplaying games". He has also written several fantasy and science fiction themed short stories and books. Gygax passed away on March 4, 2008, at his home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, at the age of 69.[1]

Attributed as Gary Gygax's favorite Bible verse:

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. -- Matthew 5:16 [2]
