Glenn Jacobs

Glenn Jacobs is a part-time professional wrestler and full-time politician, currently serving as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee (the county in which Knoxville is the county seat).

He is best known for his tenure in WWE portraying the monstrous heel Kane.

Politically he identifies as a Libertarian; however, when running for Mayor of Knox County he ran on the Republican ticket (Knox County is heavily Republican). He won the primary in May 2018 by a mere 17 votes and easily won in the general election.

Born in Spain to an Air Force veteran and raised in Missouri, Jacobs moved to East Tennessee when he met his wife, Crystal, a single mom of two daughters.
