Global Anglican Future Conference

Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) is the conservative side of the Anglican Church, comprised of roughly 50% of the overall members and up to 85% of the practicing ones. Many of GAFCON's members are in Africa, where Christianity is booming. GAFCON held its first conference in June 2008, amid concern about the liberal shift of the Church of England.

In October 2025, GAFCON officially split from the Church of England because it appointed a pro-homosexual Archbishop of Canterbury. The Anglican Church of Canada remained with the Church of England.
