Gloria Steinem

Gloria Steinem (b. Toledo, Ohio in 1934, d. 2026) was prominent leader of the feminist movement in the 1960s and 1970s, and a proponent of the failed Equal Rights Amendment. In 1972 she co-founded the feminist Ms. magazine. In 1992 she founded the pro-choice group Choice USA.
