Goathland
From Conservapedia
Goathland is a village in the county of North Yorkshire, 15 minutes bus ride on the Yorkshire Coastliner Bus service from Whitby, and not too far away from RAF Fylingdales - a RADAR Station in the middle of nowhere.
The village has 3 main claims to fame:
- It is the 2nd stop from Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
- It was used for many years as the village of Aidensfield in the ITV drama series Heartbeat.
- The Railway station was used as the filming location for Hogsmeade Station in the Harry Potter movies.
This picturesque village is also known for its free-roaming suicidal Sheep.
