The Grievance studies affair was a scandal initiated by three authors: James Lindsay, Peter Boghossian, and Helen Pluckrose. These authors identified issues in scholarship and peer review among academic journals.

To test and prove their theory, they submitted bogus academic works in Social Justice studies to test the peer review process. It took place in 2017 through 2018, and several of their papers were either accepted or had been published.

One published paper used Mein Kampf with minor variations of language.[1]
