Haakon Chevalier

Haakon Chevalier (September 10, 1901 — July 4, 1985) was an author, translator, and a professor of French literature. He is noted for translating the work of Louis Aragon, Andre Malraux, and Salvador Dali into English. He was also a friend of Robert Oppenheimer, whom he met at Berkeley.
