Haifa is a port city in northern Israel, at the base of Mount Carmel. It is Israel's third largest city behind Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
It is considered the hub of Israel's technology sector. Elbit Systems, one of Israel's major defense contractors, is based in Haifa.
