Henry Fonda

Henry Fonda (May 16, 1905 – August 12, 1982) was an American film and stage actor. He acted in dozens of films, including The Grapes of Wrath, 12 Angry Men, The Ox-Bow Incident, and On Golden Pond, for which he won his only Academy Award.

He was the patriarch of a family of famous actors, including daughter Jane Fonda, son Peter Fonda, and granddaughter Bridget Fonda.
