A horoscope is an occult fortune-telling prediction of what will occur during a future time period based upon astrological signs. Horoscopes existed in a number of pagan civilizations, at least as far back as the time of the Babylonian Empire.[1] The most frequently predicted length of time for a horoscope is for a one-day period, leading them to fit with the publication of daily newspapers.
