Howard William Lutnick (born July 14, 1961) is an American businessman, who succeeded Bernard Gerald Cantor as the head of Cantor Fitzgerald. In November 2024, President Trump appointed Lutnick as Secretary of the Department of Commerce. Lutnick is a big supporter of data centers, and also tariffs. He opposed the appointment of RFK Jr. as Secretary of HHS.
