Hugh Laurie

Hugh Laurie is an English actor and comedian born 11 June 1959 (age 59).

His first comedic performances were with the famed Footlights Club at Cambridge University. It was whilst on tour with them that he first met Stephen Fry.

He then went on to achieve prominence as a comic actor appearing in the BBC productions Blackadder and Jeeves and Wooster.

He became known to an international audience through his roles in films such as Sense and Sensibility and the Stuart Little series. He is best known today for his title role in Fox's House MD.
