Incline Village, Nevada

Incline Village is a community in Nevada located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe.

Unlike Stateline, Nevada on the south shore, Incline Village is not overrun with casinos; it is more laid back. Sierra Nevada College, a private secular liberal arts university, is located there.

Due to its location on Lake Tahoe and its proximity to high-tax California it is a popular residence (legally and via "shell corporations") for high-income individuals having significant connections with California but seeking to avoid its high tax rates; not surprisingly it has earned the nickname "Income Village".
