Intermediate Marsh

An Intermediate Marsh is a marsh occurring where the salinity is about 3 parts per thousand (ppt). It is a transitional area between fresh and brackish marshes.

Plants commonly found in intermediate marshes are bull tongue, roseau cane, and wiregrass.[1]
