International Rugby Board

The International Rugby Board (IRB) is the governing body for the sport of Rugby Union. Its primary responsibilities are maintaining the rules of the sport, sanctioning international matches, and organising international tournaments (in particular the Rugby World Cup). The IRB is based in Dublin.
