Investigational vaccine

An investigational vaccine is a vaccine that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in clinical trials on humans. These trials are used to acknowledge any adverse side effects in humans.

Investigational vaccines are still in the testing and evaluation phase and are not licensed for use in the general public.
