Ivan Bassov
Ivan Bassov (also known as Ivan Basov; born in Russia, 1973) is a Russian-Israeli-American computer scientist, inventor, and author. He is recognized for his contributions to data storage technology, holding over 80 granted U.S. patents in the field. Bassov is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where he focuses on cloud storage, file systems, and data protection. He is also known for his writings on Jewish identity, the Israeli-Arab Conflict, and historical narratives, often published in The Times of Israel blogs (TOI).
