Jason Woolford
Jason Woolford is an American politician and veteran serving as a member-elect of the Michigan House of Representatives for the 50th district. A member of the Republican Party, he is recognized for his military service and leadership in nonprofit organizations.

Early Life and Education
Woolford was born and raised in Howell, Michigan. He graduated from Howell High School and later earned a master's degree in divinity after returning to Michigan.
Military Service
Woolford served in the United States Marine Corps from 1992 to 1995, achieving the rank of corporal before being honorably discharged.
Professional Career
Following his military service, Woolford held leadership roles in the private sector, including vice president positions at Tropical Marble and Granite Import Export and Lamonica's Pizza Dough Company. In 2010, he became president of Mission Cry/Christian Resources International, a nonprofit organization that has distributed over $480 million in free Bibles and Christian teaching materials to more than 178 nations.
Political Career
In 2022, Woolford ran for the Michigan House of Representatives in the 48th district but was defeated by Democrat Jennifer Conlin. Undeterred, he pursued the 50th district seat in 2024, winning the Republican primary against incumbent Robert Bezotte and subsequently defeating Democrat Austin Breuer in the general election.
Personal Life
Woolford is married to Maria, a fellow Marine Corps veteran who also served in the Army National Guard. They have three children, including a daughter currently serving in the Marine Corps Reserves, and five grandchildren.
