2020 U.S. House election in Pennsylvania's 8th district
Bognet announced in January 2020 his run for United States House of Representatives to unseat Matt Cartwright in Pennsylvania's 8th district.[1] He has referred to the latter as a “lapdog” for Nancy Pelosi[2] and a partisan Democrat who puts pork over constituents.[3]
Republican primary
Bognet won his party's heavily contested primary with a plurality of 28% of the vote to face Cartwright in the general election.[4]
