In Jordan v. De George, 341 U.S. 223, 227 (1951), the U.S. Supreme Court upheld an order of deportation of an alien because he had been convicted of fraud and "a crime [of] which fraud is an ingredient involves moral turpitude" authorizing deportation to his native country.
