Judith Sheindlin

Judith Susan "Judy" Sheindlin (born October 21, 1942) is an American television personality, judge, lawyer, and author born in Brooklyn. She is best known for her Judge Judy television program which displays her stern, no-nonsense demeanor. She started her professional career as a lawyer, and gained fame as an esteemed New York family court judge.

Sheindlin wrote a book, Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me it's Raining based on a phrase she commonly uses.
