Jurnee Smollett

Jurnee Diana Smollett (born in 1986) is an American actress. She was born in New York to a Jewish father and a black mother. She is the younger sister of disgraced actor and criminal hoaxer Jussie Smollett. After exposing her brother's deception, she refused to condemn and reprimand him and continued to defend him despite the many pieces of evidence that revealed his lies and ultimately led to his conviction and imprisonment for staging a "hate crime" hoax.
