Leo Terrell (born February 1, 1955) is an American former teacher, author[1] civil rights attorney,[2] and radio host. Previously a Democrat, in a July 2020 interview, he declared his support for President Donald Trump—the first time he declared support for a Republican Party presidential candidate.[3] In Aug 2024, Terrell spoke out: 'Progressives want us to live with criminals in our neighborhoods.'[4]
Picked by Donald Trump in Jan 2025, to serve as Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division in the United States Department of Justice,[5][2] in his Second Cabinet.
