Lori Chavez-DeRemer is an American politician. A member of the Republican Party.

She served as mayor of city of Happy Valley, Oregon from 2010 to 2018.[1] Chavez-DeRemer ran unsuccessfully for the Oregon House of Representatives in 2016 and 2018,[2] but had defeated far left[3] Jamie McLeod-Skinner in the 2022 midterm elections, taking key District from Democrats in the Blue state,[4] seat held by Dems. since 2009, and becoming Oregon's first (Latino) Hispanic member of Congress.[5] (Though, GOP lost Oregon’s 6th Congressional District).
