Macomb County is a county located north of Detroit. With a population of 840,978 per the 2010 census, it is the third most populous county in the state of Michigan. Mount Clemens is the county seat and Warren is the largest city.
Sterling Heights, another city in Macomb County, has had since 2014 as its mayor (as of 2024) Michael Taylor, identifies with neither major party, having voted for Donald Trump in 2016 but then Joe Biden in 2020.[1]
