Malabsorption syndrome

Malabsorption syndrome is the lack of ability to absorb nutrients from the digestive system. This may occur due to a disease such as Chrones, removal of part of the small intestine, or other cause. An individual with this problem may need injections of particular vitamins or minerals such as B12 or iron.[1]
