Methyl chloroform (CH₃CCl₃) is a chemical compound which is used as an industrial solvent. It's IUPAC name is 1,1,1-trichloroethane. It is generally considered to be one of the less toxic chloroalkanes.

The Environmental Protection Agency has assigned this compound an ozone depletion potential of 0.11.
