Michael Edward Pollock, known as Sarge Pollock (born May 27, 1966),[1] is the Republican state representative for Adair and Taylor counties in central Kentucky.

Pollock won the special election held on November 2, 2021, to fill the seat vacated by the late Republican John "Bam" Carney. Pollock defeated two opponents, the Democrat Edwin Rogers and the Independent conservative Timothy Shafer.[2] Pollock ran as a conservative too and carried the backing of United States Senators Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell.[3]

A former educator and coach, Pollock works as an insurance risk advisor in Campbellsville in Taylor County. He is a son-in-law of Don Bishop, the late coach and athletic director at Campbellsville University,[4]of which Pollock is a graduate.
