Moms for Liberty

Moms for Liberty is a group founded in January 2021 by three Florida moms.[1] It has quickly grown to 100,000 members and hundreds of state chapters, and attracted the leading Republican candidates for president, including the frontrunner Donald Trump, to its annual conference in Philadelphia in late June 2023.
It was founded "to fight COVID restrictions at their children’s schools," and "the group soon moved into overhauling curricula, pulling books from library shelves and competing in school board races across the nation."
