Namecalling is the act of labelling another person or group with a pejorative term - often inappropriately - as a debating or lobbying tactic. Liberals use name-calling against conservatives, or even against each other, when they know they can't win the debate. Conservatives have also resorted to namecalling, for example, in one of his broadcasts Rush Limbaugh called a Georgetown Law student a "slut"
