Early life and education
Hausdorff was born in London to a family with deep ties to Zionist history and the Jewish community. She earned her undergraduate law degree at the University of Oxford and later completed an LL.M. at Tel Aviv University, specialising in public international law and the law of armed conflict. She was also a Fellow in the National Security Law Program at Columbia Law School.

She joined 6 Pump Court Chambers in London, where she practises commercial, regulatory and public international law. Early in her career she clerked for Chief Justice Miriam Naor of the Supreme Court of Israel.
Pro-Israel advocacy
As Legal Director of UK Lawyers for Israel, Hausdorff works to counter what she characterises as distortion and bias in international law and public discourse regarding Israel. She argues that international legal institutions and media narratives often misrepresent Israel’s conduct and create unfair legal and political pressures.
In her commentary, Hausdorff has strongly criticised international forums such as the International Criminal Court, asserting that allegations against Israeli leaders are based on false or misleading information and that international law is being “weaponized” against Israel rather than applied fairly.[1]
She has also contributed legal analysis defending Israeli military actions, including claiming that if Israel was responsible for certain Hezbollah pager explosions, the strikes would have been precise and compliant with the principles of necessity and distinction under the law of armed conflict.[2]
In October 2024, *The Jerusalem Post* listed her as **No. 2** among its “25 Young ViZionaries” for her role as a “prominent advocate for Israel’s legal rights on the global stage.”[3]
Recognition
Hausdorff has received several honours for her advocacy work:
- **Moral Courage Award (2025)** – Awarded by the American Jewish Committee for her leadership in countering bias and misinformation in international law discussions involving Israel.[4]
- **Torchbearer, Israel’s Independence Day (2025)** – Selected to light a torch on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem for her contributions to defending Israel’s legal and moral standing internationally.[5]
Public commentary and media appearances
Hausdorff is a frequent speaker at international forums, webinars and conferences on antisemitism, the law of armed conflict, and the legal framework for Israel’s self-defence. She appears regularly in media interviews and panel discussions, offering legal perspectives that emphasise Israel’s rights under international law.
