Neocolonialism

In Marxist ideology, Neocolonialism is the idea that the freedom of poorer countries is dominated by the economic power of richer, capitalist countries. Oppression and control are functions of monetary or economic means.[1]

The term Neocolonialism was first introduced by Kwame Nkrumah, a former president of Ghana.
