Newstead Abbey is a stately home and ruined abbey owned by Nottingham City Council, in Nottinghamshire in the UK. It was the ancestral home of the Byron Family, including the famous Poet. The grounds offer attractive landscaped gardens and woodland walks for visitors [1]. Several ghosts are said to haunt the abbey and it's grounds [2].
