Nope is a popular 2022 film that begins with a quote from the Bible, using the New King James Version term "spectacle" as sought by the Nope director Jordan Peele:[1]

This prophecy is of the devastation of the evil, pagan Nineveh as the capital of the Assyrian Empire.
Peele explained in an interview:
| â | I wrote it in a time when we were a little bit worried about the future of cinema. So the first thing I knew is I wanted to create a spectacle. I wanted to create something that the audience would have to come see.[2] | â |
In another of Peele's successful movies, he included a girl holding a sign stating "Jeremiah 11:11 ."
