Omissions in Matthew
From Conservapedia
Omissions in Matthew are parables, miracles, and other parts of the Gospel of Mark that Matthew left out of his Gospel of Matthew:
- the Widow's Mite, at Mark 12:41–44 and Luke 21:1–4
- reasons for the omission: perhaps Matthew did not observe it, or as a financial-type of guy Matthew did not fully appreciate the logic of a small contribution being greater than a larger one
- When the same message is conveyed by the Parable of the Vineyard Workers, Matthew includes it at Matthew 20:1 (verse 16: “So the last will be first, and the first last.”)
