Paul Hollander

Paul Hollander is a conservative American sociologist. He studies intellectuals, Russia, and anti-Americanism. Born in Hungary in 1932 to an assimilated middle-class Jewish family, he barely escaped the Holocaust. he escaped from Communist control during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and made his way to the U.S. He took his PhD at Princeton University (1963) and taught at the University of Massachusetts until his retirement in 2000.
