Paul Richard LePage was the Republican governor of Maine from 2011 to 2019. He was first elected in 2010. He is well known for his attempts to reduce union influence in Maine's public sector, which comprises part of his efforts to close a massive budget shortfall.[1]
On February 25, 2016, he became the second governor to endorse Donald Trump for president.[2]
