The ABC-Logo was designed by Paul Rand.

Paul Rand (August 15, 1914 – November 26, 1996) was a US-American graphic designer. He created the logos of International Business Machines, ABC, Enron, UPS and Westinghouse Electric Corporation. From 1935 to 1941 he was the Art Director of the magazine Esquire.
