Peter Finch

Peter Finch (died 1977) was a motion picture actor. His last work, Network, continues to make him famous. In that film he portrayed a news commentator (an analog of Eric Sevareid, John Chancellor, and Bill Moyers) who turned his show and network into a powerhouse with this memorable line:

I want you to get out of your seat, and throw open your window, and shout out to the world, "I'm mad as hell, and I am not going to take this anymore!"
