Puff piece

A puff piece is a one-sided news article to promote a political figure to a ridiculous extent, without any balance or criticism. Typically puff pieces are by the liberal media to advance a liberal goal.

There were puff pieces about U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy in the liberal media until he resigned such that President Donald Trump could fill his seat, and then the puff pieces for Justice Kennedy abruptly ended.
