Pure Food and Drug Act

The Pure Food and Drug Act was a law passed in 1906 under the administration of Theodore Roosevelt. It required food and drug manufacturers to have a nutrition facts list (on food) and a drug facts list (on medicine), and the removal of questionable ingredients from foods and medicines.
