Randy Randall Rudy Quaid (born October 1, 1950) is an American actor and producer known for his roles in both dramatic and comedic films. He has appeared in over 90 films and television shows, earning widespread acclaim for his portrayal of complex characters in movies such as The Last Detail (1973), for which he received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor nomination, and Midnight Express (1978).
