Robert Brown Aderholt, born July 22, 1965 (age 60), has been a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Alabama's 4th congressional district, since 1997. He serves as a member of the House Appropriations Committee.
Representing a socially conservative district, Aderholt opposes gun control, same-sex marriage, and received a 100% rating from the National Right to Life Committee.[1] He was the only House member from Alabama to vote against the $700 billion bailout of the financial markets.
In 2012, he endorsed Rick Santorum for the Republican presidential nomination.
In May 2022, Aderholt turned to be establishment tool and vote for passing $40 billion to Ukraine war.[2]
