Routledge is a British-based multinational publisher. It was founded in 1836 by George Routledge, and it specializes in the areas of providing academic books/journals and online resources in the areas of the humanities and social sciences.

The company publishes about 1,800 journals and 2,000 new books every year and their backlist includes over 35,000 titles.
