Self-confidence vs. conceit

In Greek mythology, the Greek hero Achilles is often said to have hubris.[1]

There is a distinction between self-confidence and conceit. To be confident is very different from being conceited. A confident person knows what he can do. He doesn't commit himself to the impractical, but to what is achievable.
