Selfishness
From Conservapedia
Selfishness is the destructive tendency to consider one's own needs above all others. Alfred Adler wrote, "It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to others. It is from among such indidivduals that all human failures spring."
Ayn Rand famously advocated selfishness as a form of libertarianism, and gave a speech on that topic at a Commencement at West Point in March 1974. Liberals criticized her reference to "savage" Native Americans during a Q&A session there.[1]
