The sinner's prayer is a prayer that, according to some Christians, one says to become saved.

There are various forms of the sinner's prayer, often found in Christian tracts and repeated during evangelistic services.

The Bible does not specify any specific prayer to be used in salvation, and the use of the sinner's prayer is controversial in some circles. One concern is that it has been used as part of an overall practice called "quick prayerism", which is a form of manipulation into getting a person to say a prayer to avoid Hell upon death, even if the person exhibits no real change of lifestyle thereafter.
