Socioeconomics

Socioeconomics relates to or concerned with the interaction of social and economic factors. It is a social science that is a hybrid of the disciplines of sociology and economics.
It primarily focuses on how economic activity affects and is shaped by various social processes. In general, it studies how societies advance, decline or stagnate because of their local/regional economy and also the effects of their interaction with the global economy.
