'''Alexander Rosenberg''' (born 1946) is an American philosopher, [[atheist]], and author. He holds the chair of the department of philosophy at [[Duke University]] in [[North Carolina]]. In 2011, Rosenberg published a book entitled, ''The Atheist's Guide to Reality'' in which he argues that atheists should not 'waste' their time debating [[Christians]] and other theists, but rather, should dedicate their time to learning about the universe and nature. Despite this, Rosenberg is scheduled to participate in a debate with christian philosopher [[William Lane Craig]] at [[Purdue University]] in early 2013.
