The Mars Volta is a progressive rock band formed aafter the break-up of [[At The Drive-in]]. They formed in 2001. Their first release was the Tremulant EP. Currently they have three studio albums. They are [[De-loused in the Comatorium]], [[Francis the Mute]], and [[Amputecture]]. The Mars Volta has two main members, Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez.
